We had a glorious week of 80 degree weather here, timed perfectly with the flu finally releasing its two week death grip on our family. I finally booked our plans out for Spring Break and my mind is busy prepping for warm weather dressing.
Took this cotton dress with embroidery details (size Small) for a spin this week. It’s everything I want from a summer dress — lightweight, bodice with the princess waistline, and adjustable straps. Somebody DMed and asked what I wear for boob coverage, and I use these. I haven’t purchased actual sandals in god knows how long because everything kind of looks the same these days, but these gladiator sandals with the ripcord detail were too fun to pass up (took my normal size).

If you’re in the market for bathing suits — I got this green two-piece (size S) for a little getaway trip to a few weeks ago. Better for smaller chests. Striped pants are part of a pajama set. Hat is truly the best (and $100).
I really struggle in general with one piece bathing suits because of my longer torso, but I like having suits that provide more coverage if I’m in the mood for that. I purchased this blue two-piece for some upcoming trips and I like the higher waist on this one.
New favorite, flattering pair of denim from one of the OG purveyors of modifying vintage Levi’s with a modern fit.
Hodge podge:
I jumped on the bandwagon and got these silk/lace shorts that everyone (except me) seemed to snag last summer. They’re back again, and I think would look cute this summer with a great vintage or graphic tee to offset the sexiness factor.
Lots of questions about this pair of shoes that I’m wearing with black socks. I took a size up like the brand recommended and they fit great, but I would say you could definitely take your own size, especially if you are planning to wear without socks.
Questions about my daughter’s sparkle cowboy boots are probably 50% of my DMs this month lol. Hers are sold out from last season. Sized up two sizes so she could have as much time with them as possible. They bring her (and tbh me!) so much joy.
Until next time :)
