Straight from the DMs
Just an old fashioned roundup of links
Hi! It’s been a minute. A very long minute. Admittedly, I was trying to figure out if Substack was the right place to leave outfits, link things, etc. Sometimes it’s easier because the links are obviously here longer than 24 hour stories on IG, but then it also takes a while to compile everything. I’m also very aware that people get so many emails, newsletters, things to click — it can be overwhelming (and annoying?). All that to say.. thanks for letting me land in your inbox.
Anyway! Linking a handful of things that are straight from my DMs in the last few months (that I thought were relevant heading into fall).
This paper weight, super soft sweater. My favorite layering piece right now. Worn with these wide leg jeans that are so soft and don’t really feel like jeans. Vintage Celine bag, from The Vintage Marche. Lili has the best eye for the goods and it looks like she’s got one of these bags left right now (but she sources and puts up new ones every couple of weeks).
This top. I got a lot of q’s on this one over the summer, and I’ve kept it going into the fall under blazers etc. My color is almost sold out, but the black is on sale and probably even more versatile for working into outfits.
This silk top (the pankou closures, and the embroidered hem finish really make this one special). Also fielded a lot of questions about these earrings (size large), which I haven’t taken off since June? (I’m a lazy jewelry wearer - I tend to just wear things and keep them on rain or shine).
This bracelet that I feel like I’ve shared with all women from all walks of life — moms at carpool, women at the coffee shop, my pilates instructor, etc.
This pair of denim that I think makes any casual outfit less boring. And is great for all girlies (short or tall) — I’m 5’5”. Has an adjustable ripcord at the bottom hems so you can play with the shape of the leg.
90’s tank top - another great layering piece. The fabric is double layered so it’s got some support to it. I use the NOOD sticky bra when I wear this top.
Nobody asked for this one — but I’m very excited about it. This Etsy bag that I think is a fabulous alternative to the $990 Row Cecily bag that keeps haunting me. I just ordered mine so will report back in a few weeks since each bag is custom made.
Speaking of Etsy, I just got this cutie necklace for my daughter and am planning to gift this one out too for upcoming birthdays.
And then lastly, PSA that we’ve reached that time of year that Zara restocks this $60 sweater. They make this every year and it’s my most worn sweater (pic from last fall). I just purchased the V-neck version of this sweater to replace the Vneck that I have from 5 years ago (FIVE YEARS). I take a Large for an oversized fit.
xx
