It’s that awkward time of year in LA before it *really* feels like fall, but the heatwave is definitely over. Temps are cooler in the mornings and evenings, but still pretty hot during the day. I’m very mentally ready for fall clothes, and thought I would round up some recent “transitional” outfits.

P and I did a girls’ shopping trip this week, and I grabbed this bias-cut silk dress (size Small). Planning to layer with a comfy chunky knit sweater as it gets colder.
Have been throwing on this easy chore jacket over everything when I head out in the morning. I took a Size M, but I would have sized up more to a Size L for that oversized look. / The same boxer shorts I’ve been linking for the past 3(?) newsletters.
This cotton (read, not itchy at all) cable knit sweater that is so soft and has an amazing hand-feel. I took a size M for a boxier oversized look since it’s slightly cropped.
I wore the sweater with these flowy, wide leg cargo pants for my son’s back-to-school parents’ night. I’m 5’5”ish and did have to hem these just slightly.
This dress (size Small) was technically worn on one of those diabolical heatwave days earlier this month, but I’m still planning to wear this through the fall with a sweater draped over / And this fun puffy heart necklace that is actually a bag charm, but I decided was cute as a necklace instead lol.
Paired the dress with these espadrilles. I love how comfy and easy these are. And these striped ones are giving me the same vibe that the Bode espadrilles do.
